Colorfield is a ceramic wall installation composed of 20 hand-crafted spheres, each forming part of a cohesive, earthy color palette. You can purchase a single sphere, a group of three, or the full composition of 20. The work explores the subtle interplay of natural clay bodies—white, terracotta, gray, and a deep purplish pigment—without relying on synthetic glazes or colorants.
Each sphere is made by blending clay types in precise proportions, shaped through a hybrid process of digital modeling, plaster molds, and traditional handcraft. The result is a controlled yet organic composition where no two spheres are identical—an ever-shifting spectrum that reflects the raw beauty and geological richness of the earth.
Rooted in a philosophy of sustainability and mindful making, Colorfield invites reflection on color not as an external layer, but as an inherent quality of the material itself.
